Library opening times – for Hinckley and Nuneaton sites.

Library buys stock on tutors’ recommendations. Do your learners need books, e-books, DVDs, TV programmes, magazines?… Something else?… Please use a request form (pdf) or contact us by email.

  • Join the Library
  • Search the Library’s online catalogue – search for books, DVDs, ebooks, magazines. Reserve or renew items online.
  • Ebooks – Search for and use more than 2,000 ebooks at College or from home.
  • Classroom loans: need to take items to classes and don’t want to loan personally? The Library can set you up with a classroom loan account. See staff for details.

Library Resources – From online video streaming to the loan of equipment, the Library offers many ways to help you in and outside the classroom

  • Clickview – a digital video recording system like iPlayer that can stream recordings straight to your computer, iPhone or iPad.
  • Lynda.com – Teach yourself online, over 140 different courses available.
  • Borrow AV equipment – borrow all kinds of equipment for teaching, from ipad mini’s to laptops and webcams.
  • Request TV recordings – Want TV programmes recording for classroom use? See staff for details.
  • Help and guides – need to know how to use Facebook for teaching / follow blogs? The Library can help.

Inductions and academic skills sessions – Book sessions for yourself or groups of students.

Subject Guides – online guides for each subject. More guides to follow.

Library Blog – a blog on anything the college library has, does and can do.
