Remembrance Day poppies in the Library

Poppy boxNext month on Rembrance Day (11/11/14) people all over the UK and abroad will fall silent for two minutes to remember those soldiers who have died since the beginning of World War One. The Nuneaton college library has some poppies available to buy at the help desk. All donations received for these will go to the Royal British Legion.

The Nuneaton Campus Library is open 8.30am – 7.00pm Monday – Thursday, and 8.30am – 4.30pm Friday (term time hours).

The Nuneaton campus also has a selection of books, ebooks and DVDs available about the First and Second World wars, titles include: Poetry of the first world war by Dominic Hibberd, Europe At War by Graham Darby, Anne Frank The Diary of A Young Girl by Anne Frank and Otto Frank, The D-Day encyclopedia by David G Chandler, Sophie Scholl (DVD), The First World War A Very Short Introduction(ebook),Paths Of Glory (DVD)and The Great War In Colour (DVD)
